Senior Financial Analyst of Total Rewards 

Shearer’s Foods is currently seeking an energetic, articulate, self-motivated individual with a “can do” attitude to join the fast-paced Total Rewards team.  This position works directly under the supervision of the Sr Manager of Total Rewards and will provide analytical support to the Total Rewards function.  This role will participate in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our compensation and benefits programs.

  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and take ownership of areas of responsibility, complete non-standard requests or projects independently, and identify, investigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Communicate appropriate information clearly and effectively to other team members, departments, and external parties.
  • Participate in the annual salary forecasting process, prepares and accurately maintains OPC forecasting spreadsheets throughout the planning cycle
  • Calculate and report AIP (annual incentive plan) payout
  • Assist with building the annual budget for our Health and Welfare plans, including plan design modeling, and impact to our forecasted Operating Plan Commitment
  • Will assist with development of business reports to capture key metrics and trends (pay for performance metrics, compensation forecasting, healthcare projections)
  • Maintain the SuccessFactors system ensuring adherence to compensation policies and accurate implementation of changes, related to merit and bonus processes
  • Collects data on industry standards and best practices to determine competitive positioning of the organization's benefit offerings, and evaluates the cost impact of changes to base pay rates, incentive programs, or benefits packages
  • Provides assistance during annual compensation and benefits cycles, including annual market pricing exercises, salary increase cycles, bonus plan administration, and benefits open enrollment
  • Maintain the Payfactors data base (external compensation vendor), monitoring and identifying trends across our pay markets; conducts periodic market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs; and assists with salary and wage benchmarking, as requested
  • Run audit reports and resolve any data discrepancies
  • Analyze compensation data against compensation polices and reports non-complaint cases and behavior
  • Reconcile all premium invoices and approve in AP system with proper GL code
  • Provides data to external vendor for preparation of annual EEO-1 and Vets100 reporting
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned

What you bring to the table: 

  • Advanced MS Excel skills, required
  • 3-5 years of experience in an analyst role
  • Accounting and/or Finance experience preferred 
  • Ability to think critically and strategically
  • Knowledge of ADP WFN and eTime, or other HRIS system strongly recommended
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated to take initiative and share new ideas
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers at all levels
  • Strong collaboration skills
