About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Financial Systems Analyst to work in the exciting area of Finance Enablement. The individual will interpret, improve, and prioritize enhancements to financial analytics dashboards for financial planning teams. This role will be responsible for communicating the technical design requirements and implementation of new Annual Recurring Revenue model transformations, as well as ongoing improvements, and maintenance of the current system.

Additionally, the Sr. Financial Systems Analyst will support business finance transformational work in collaboration with the Business Technology Enterprise Application team. The role will provide project management and technical guidance, be hands on, respond to reporting & analytics requests, manage various integrations and work independently but closely with the functional Finance partners. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Finance Enablement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning meetings with BT partners for roadmap prioritization.
• Write user stories in Jira to capture finance business requirements for the improvements to ARR Dashboards, including development, data organization, security, data integrity and supports on-going enhancements for all Finance teams.
• Evaluates business processes and develops process improvements with focus on optimizing use of Workday Reporting Tools.
• Works closely with Finance to understand functional requirements and executes them through successful implementation and testing.
• Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial performance, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating metrics.
• Manages projects end to end; ensures coverage of all facets of testing and a successful end-user experience
• Provides guidance to Finance team members, Workday managers and employees on the use of financial systems
• Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Partner with Sales Ops Systems teams to drive process and system improvements to standardize and improve accuracy of data flowing into ARR Dashboards .
• Support Data Governance initiatives to certify metrics across Workday, normalize, and centralize data.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and report development projects.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems or related area.
• Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience working with reporting writing software, preferably Tableau, Workday Prism, and Workday Reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting complex planning and analytical models.
• Working SQL proficiency.

Other Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of data integration between systems and/or experience working with IT.
• Knowledge of ERP and Financial Planning software and ability to operate as the Subject Matter Professional on Financial Systems.
• Solid understanding of Finance Metrics.
• Project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage Finance processes and/or technology projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex information into working user stories.
