Senior Front End Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex and innovative user interfaces for our Analytics platform. You will be working closely with our product designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. 

Responsibilities

• Involvement in high-level architectural decisions regarding frontend infrastructure and technologies. 
• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript. 
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable React components. 
• Implement complex user interfaces with a focus on performance, reliability and scalability. 
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability. 
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with RESTful APIs and other data sources. 
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members. 
• Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and trends. 
• Contribute to the improvement of our frontend development processes and best practices. 
• Mentor junior developers and share your expertise with strong emphasis on code quality, readability and documentation. 

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React and TypeScript. Computer Science or related Engineering degree desired. 
• Ability to communicate technical details and progress effectively with stakeholders and non-technical teams. 
• Deep understanding of React ecosystem, including component lifecycle, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), CSS systems (CSS in JS), navigation systems (React Router) and hooks. 
• Working knowledge of CICD systems like GitHub Actions, CircleCI etc. and build systems like Webpack, Parcel, Vite etc. 
• Experience developing and building using cloud services like AWS S3, AWS CloudFront etc. 
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+). 
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. 
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress). 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Passion for building high-quality user interfaces and delivering exceptional user experiences.
