We are...

• Fully remote with no office
• 17 people across 6 countries (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Turkey)
• Bootstrapped (no investors) and profitable

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to develop and implement new features.
• Optimize and refine existing features to improve UX and decrease friction.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and fix bugs to improve customer experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of quality, and collaborative learning.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies to maintain Canny’s edge in the market.
• Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring ease of use and understanding for future reference.

Tech you’ll use every day:

• Our stack - TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, MongoDB, SCSS
• Cloud services - AWS, GitHub, CircleCI, MongoDB
• Slack - team and some customer communication
• Canny - tracking user feedback 🙂
• Missive - email collaboration
• ClickUp - project management

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary, competitive in all major cities
• Bonus program (8% of base salary, varies on performance)

• 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a frontend focus
• Production experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS
• Eagerness to shape the technical direction of the product, lead architectural decision making, and mentor others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• You are self-motivated and have strong organizational skills
• Experience working autonomously and as a part of a small, preferably remote, team.
• You have demonstrated the ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term:
  • within the last 5 years, you've worked at one company for at least 2 years

• Experience building enterprise and/or SaaS software
• Deep experience with frontend web applications
