Our client is a leading provider of talent acquisition and HR operations solutions, offering an all-in-one ATS platform and on-demand HR professionals to streamline hiring and workforce management. With expertise in market localization, HR strategy, and compliance, specializes in helping businesses scale efficiently, focusing on Japan and Southeast Asia. Their lean, agile team is now working to modernize and professionalize their platform to better serve startups, high-growth companies, and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Django, and Python.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support complex business requirements.

• Develop user-centric frontend solutions with responsive and high-performance design.

• Architect and implement solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Ensure applications meet industry standards for security, maintainability, and testability.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to the development team.

• Collaborate with the interim CTO to drive architectural decisions and best practices.

• Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and foster a culture of excellence.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to deliver business value.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack engineering.

• Proven track record of building and deploying enterprise-grade solutions.

• Expertise in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Strong experience with Django and Python for backend services.

• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, EKS preferred).

• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with modern frontend development practices and frameworks (React preferred).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus.

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead or similar leadership role

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive technical direction.
