Senior GL Accountant

Job Description: This role will use their knowledge of accounting principles as well as software knowledge to validate and setup clients in their respective accounting software. An ideal candidate will be proficient at accounting while possessing a logical approach to technical problem solving. This individual is excellent at multi-tasking, is highly organized, and has great attention to detail. FINITE SOLUTIONS FOR INFINITE POSSIBILITIES Roles & Responsibilities: • Accurately setting up software rules and/or automation for new Clients • Implement and manage accounting software issues to correct setup errors • Provide training and support to employees in the various software(s) • Enter beginning balance for General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. • Reconciles all General Ledger accounts • Perform regular audits and checks to ensure data accuracy • Create and maintain financial reports using the software • Work closely with the General Ledger and IT teams to troubleshoot any issues • Stay updated with the latest developments in new software updates and changes • Document and maintain software training manuals Skills Requirements: • Proven experience as anAccountant • Knowledge of accounting procedures and time-management skills • Familiarity with accounting software • Strong technical skills and a passion for troubleshooting errors • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online, Vantaca, CINC, VMS, Caliber, and AppFolio) Job Type: Full-time On-site Position, No Hybrid or Remote * Please list salary requirements on cover letter Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Accounting: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • Austin, TX 78759 (Required) Work Location: In person
