Under the direction of the Global Payroll Manager, the Senior Global Payroll Analyst is responsible for the administration of the day to day payroll operations and accuracy of the payroll system to deliver the company’s biweekly and monthly payrolls. The Senior Global Payroll Analyst will act as backup for the Global Payroll Manager, will be a resource to employees, and perform related duties as required. This position is to ensure accurate and prompt processing of all global payroll items.
What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)- Process US biweekly and International (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) monthly payrolls, and audit them before they are released for payment
- Validate payroll processing for accuracy and ensure all payments are made timely and compliant with international tax/labor laws
- Process garnishments, unemployment wage claims, and other tax tracers, as needed
- Manage data integrity among HRIS, Payroll, and Accounting ERP platforms to ensure systems are in sync on a quarterly and annual basis
- Work closely with internal staff and vendors to ensure People Operations, Benefits, and Payroll changes are processed in a timely manner: accurate funding for all accounts, tax remittances, general ledger balancing, month-end close, management reporting
- Lead year-end payroll tasks to ensure accurate generation of W2 tax forms
- Assist with annual audits such as 401k and Workers’ Compensation
- Identify and participate in process improvement projects, including various implementation and upgrades
- Serve as focal point of contact on all payroll inquiries
- Monitor email inquiries from Payroll@ inbox and respond to employees within reasonable time frame
- Work with the FLYR crew to provide guidance in payroll processes and provide feedback to improve payroll processes
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis for payroll related accounts, ensuring the company remains in compliance and in balance
- Complete payroll journal entries for month-end close
- Create and maintain policies and procedural documentation
- Performs other duties as required and assigned by management
- 5+ years work experience in Payroll and Human Resources preferred
- 5+ years experience with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) required
- Possess exceptional understanding of fundamental payroll practices and key controls
- Proficient in MS Excel including advanced formula functions: Vlookup, pivot tables, IF statements
- Accounting experience required related to month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations as it relates to Payroll
- Ability to lead company’s adherence to regulatory country, federal, state, and local mandates on payroll and payroll tax
- International payroll processing experience required: Poland, The Netherlands, Colombia, Germany, and other countries
- Knowledge of international payroll, tax, and human resource laws and procedures, preferred
- Knowledge of SOX controls
- Experienced management of outsourced payroll providers
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively and present payroll concepts tailored to different audiences
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality to Payroll and other employee personal information
- Experience in a lead role

Compensation: The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience and is as follows:
$88,000—$124,000 USD
