Senior Global Payroll Specialist

The Sr. Global Payroll Specialist will work to ensure Movable’s employees are paid accurately and timely as Movable Ink continues to grow and expand in an ever-changing world. The role will report to the Associate Director of Payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the payroll processing of all Movable Ink locations (US, Canada, UK, Australia, Costa Rica, Germany)
• Prepare payroll funding requests
• Responsible for reconciliation and funding of benefit deductions (401k, FSA, HSA, etc.)
• Responsible for reconciling payroll funding to Bank activity for the purpose of Payroll Journal Entries
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees
• Continuously evaluate payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain payroll documents for processing and auditing needs
• Manage the Time and Attendance system for Non-Exempt Employees
• Use the payroll reporting system to create and run ad-hoc reports for internal use, as well as, to assist with or respond to the needs of the organization
• Distribute payroll reports and summaries as required
• Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with a fast-paced, growing start-up is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years using ADP Workforce Now
• Proven track record of processing payroll for a mid-sized to large organization with a high level of proficiency
• Prior vendor management experience with outsourced payroll partners
• Experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word) is required

The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
