Senior Go Language Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactiveSenior Go Language Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing microservices and event-driven systems to handle substantial request volumes and manage extensive database records. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders and software engineers across various geographical locations to ensure seamless delivery and support of services.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders in Europe and occasionally in the US
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven systems to handle tens of millions of requests daily
• Manage and optimize databases encompassing billions of records
• Execute simple DevOps tasks to ensure successful service delivery and support
• Take initiative, own outcomes, and continuously seek opportunities for learning

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Go Language
• Knowledge of Redis, PostgreSQL, or similar SQL databases
• Expertise in Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, and Amazon S3 along with familiarity with similar cloud services
• Competency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, New Relic, and Sentry
• Background in handling multitier architecture projects
• Ability to work independently, gathering necessary requirements to accomplish tasks
• Capability to inquire and ask follow-up questions during investigation
• Skills in prioritizing tasks autonomously
