The Digital Tracking team is at the forefront of leveraging data and technology to innovate and enhance user experiences across the company's digital landscape. Tasked with the collection of digital data through industry-leading analytics tools and Tag Management Systems, the team plays a pivotal role in informing core business strategies and decisions. Beyond development, the team also provides operational support to business users, utilizing a ticket-based system and email for efficient resolution of queries and issues.
Emphasizing a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, the team works closely together to solve complex problems and drive technological advancements. Their collective efforts are crucial in maintaining Dyson's reputation for cutting-edge digital initiatives and in shaping the company's future in the digital domain.
As a Senior Google Analytics Lead, you will guide a team of analytics consultants, leveraging your expertise to spearhead the implementation and configuration of Google Analytics solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate collection and analysis of digital data, driving data-driven insights and informing key business strategies.
Responsibilities

Oversee the use of Google Analytics tools, including Tag Manager, to optimize digital experiences and drive data-driven insights for Dyson's digital platforms.

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of analytics consultants, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and configure Google Analytics solutions, aligning with business objectives and optimizing user experiences.

Drive process improvements and the adoption of best practices in the use of Google Analytics tools, staying updated on industry trends and technologies.

Utilize strong communication skills to effectively engage with global stakeholders and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience with web technologies, and a strong command of JavaScript and related frameworks such as jQuery, as well as a deep understanding of HTTP, DNS, CDNs, and cookie management.

At least 7 years of experience with Google Analytics tools, particularly Tag Manager, in a leadership role.

Strong experience with Adobe Analytics tools, particularly Adobe Launch and Adobe Web Analytics, is preferred but not required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interpret data and drive strategic improvements.

Excellent communication abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of leading and mentoring analytics teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision making.

A motivated and proactive learner, eager to stay updated on the latest digital trends and technologies and apply that knowledge to our analytics capabilities.
