Senior Grant Accountant

Salary:$45 - 50 per hour + Medical Reference:384837-JC9 We’re partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit in Harlem that’s undergoing transformative leadership and organizational growth. They’re looking to bring on aSenior Grant Accountant with PASSport experienceon atemp-to-perm basisto help build a stronger financial foundation and support their current team. What They're Looking For: • Strong non-profit accounting, reporting, and compliance experience • Hands-on support with full-cycle accounting: GL, AP, AR, P&L, payroll • Experience with government contracts, grants, and clinical revenue (Medicare/Medicaid billing) • PASSport grant portal experience • Board presentation experience (PowerPoint reporting, strategic insights) • Excel: PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative – not just a processor Key Details: • Pay Rate:$40–$50/hr (DOE) • Conversion Salary Range:$80K–$100K • Schedule:Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm (35-hour week) • Location:100% Onsite – Harlem, NY • Type:Contract-to-Hire (90-day temp period) • Software:Sage Intacct, ADP (possibly moving to Paycom) Team Structure: You’ll work across 3 functional groups: • Accounting (GL, AP/AR, Payroll) • Financial Analysis & Reporting • Compliance You’ll be collaborating with finance leadership and participating in strategic board-level reporting.
