Senior Graphics Designer

Graphic Designer II Houston, TX, 77056 Job Schedule: Hybrid Role - In office Tuesday and Wednesday. 2 Months – Contract (Extending contract with potential conversion) Job Profile Summary The Graphic Designer is an integral part of the in-house communications team and is responsible for collaborating with the marketing department to develop clean, impactful marketing materials for both print and digital applications. This role supports the companys overall business objectives through thoughtful visual communication and brand consistency. Job Responsibilities Create Canva brand templates based on existing marketing materials Design visually compelling assets for print and digital media, including marketing collateral, presentations, infographics, social media content, and website graphics Demonstrate conceptual thinking through a strong design portfolio Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Maintain strong attention to detail in all deliverables Support and enhance the brand across channels Follow established procedures to complete assignments and resolve standard design challenges Work as an individual contributor under direct oversight Produce high-quality work for both print and digital formats Prior experience in an agency or in-house creative/communications environment preferred Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related fieldor an equivalent combination of education and experience 4 to 7 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong and diverse portfolio Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Experience producing both print and digital materials Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly while maintaining creative integrity Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred Experience Minimum 4 to 7 years of related professional experience Job Type: Contract Pay: $40.00 per hour Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • graphic design : 7 years (Required) • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) : 4 years (Required) • producing both print and digital materials: 4 years (Preferred) • Canva: 4 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • Houston, TX 77056 (Required) Work Location: In person
