The Role
Adobe is seeking a Snr HR Business Partner to deliver high impact business partnership across Engineering business leaders in EMEA. The Snr HRBP will deliver thought leadership in the areas of workforce planning, organisational design, TA, performance optimisation, performance management, talent assessment & engagement, and organisational change leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to position yourself as a trusted Business Partner to Adobe's Senior Leader community, with the goal of driving overall organisational efficiency and success.
You will business partner with global and regional Digital Experience (DX) and Digital Media (DMe) Engineering leaders. In particular, your main client will be the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) organisation led by a VP based in Basel. You will liaise closely with global and regional Digital Experience (DX) and Digital Media (DMe) Engineering Business Partners ensuring alignment across geographies. This role will partner closely with EMEA EX COE partners including, but not limited to, Talent development, Total Reward, DEI, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition.
This position is an integral part of the EMEA HR Business Partnering team, reporting to the EMEA Engineering HRBP Lead - Director. The role will contribute to thought leadership on people and organisational topics, as well as delivering insight into Engineering priorities. The EMEA HRBP team is a small but impactful team partnering with business leaders across the region while also creating time to engage and have fun as a team along the way!
What You'll Do:
- Act as a reliable and knowledgeable business partner to senior leaders in EMEA Engineering. Implement a people strategy for these teams, including mentoring for efficiency, a high-performance culture, and strong teams.
- Responsible for developing organisational and people strategies to support Engineering growth objectives through collaboration with business leaders, global business partners and EX COE teams
- Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities, diagnosing people implications and translating these into clear strategic people plans
- Provide impactful business partnership across multiple people topics such as organisational design, talent management, employee development, DEI, change management and performance optimisation
- Champion a positive organisational culture in alignment with the Adobe values and be an advocate for embedded DEI practices
- Provide objective data-based perspectives on relevant organisational and people matters and recommend and implement appropriate strategies to address key issues
- Actively participate in Adobe's community by sharing standard processes, insights, and knowledge.
- This role will be based in Basel and will act as HR site lead.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience in a regional HRBP role partnering with senior leaders, preferably in an Engineering business area
- Demonstrated competence in driving impactful results as a regional Business Partner, with a focus on talent management, leadership guidance, change management, and problem-solving.
- Highly collaborative and experienced in working in a global matrixed environment, demonstrating experience in building positive relationships with global BP peers.
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach, demonstrating the ability to think strategically and pivot to execution when required. Ability to predict trends and support the business in their forward thinking.
- Showcase outstanding communication and influencing skills to foster positive relationships and partnerships, bringing an authentic style to business partnering.
- Experience of influencing collaborators with compelling, data-driven insights and recommendations
- Experience designing, leading and implementing change management initiatives and strong conflict management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Languages - German / Swiss German speaking preferred.
