IC Awards Specialist

Position Summary

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a full-time IC Awards Specialist for an on-site position in Bethesda, MD. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance and Counterintelligence Polygraph. Key responsibilities include managing IC Awards, coordinating the National Intelligence Awards Program, editing nominations, handling award logistics, and liaising with various IC agencies and departments. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with the Awards Database. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 18+ years of experience, Master’s with 10+ years, or 20+ years without a degree.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports IC Awards, updates IC standard proposals from IC components
  • Coordinates the National Intelligence Awards Program (NIAP) to include correspondence with all IC Agencies
  • Organizes databases, edits award nominations, participates in Awards Board administrative duties
  • Handles logistics for award packages and presentations
  • Updates Awards database
  • Assists with setting up Award Selection Boards
  • Works with Genesis Lite Data Base
  • Proofs /edits Award nominations
  • Interfaces: DNI (HC, PA, EEO, DEI), 18 IC Agencies, and PM, DEIA Lead, Advocacy Lead
  • Processes/Activities: Policy development, Writing reports, Communications, Awards Boards
  • Tools: MS Office, Awards Database

Minimum Qualifications

  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • Degree Requirements: Bachelor's Degree + minimum of 18 years, Master's Degree + 10 years minimum
  • Familiarity with the National Intelligence Awards Program (NIAP)
  • Excellent oral and written communications including email correspondence, database updates, award nominations, vetting of award packages and presentation
  • Expert technical writing and quality assurance for all deliverables and award artifacts
  • Proven successful execution of IC Awards processes/activities to include policy development, writing reports, communications, Awards Boards
  • Expert proficiency with MS Office tools and the Awards Database

Salary Range
$140,000 - $150,000
This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary.
