A Brief Overview Under direction, participates in planned research by advanced analyzing, abstracting, population and managing data in complex research databases. Monitors and maintains relevant databases and coordinates abstract writing / presentation of data. What you will do • Participate in complex research by advanced analyzing, abstracting, population, and presenting data using research databases. • Coordinate abstract writing and presentation. • Monitor and maintain research databases. • Act as divisional resource for research database management. • Keep up-to-date with all possible database capabilities as well as related software and technology. • Participate in clinical research within area and in other activities to support the project. • Perform other related duties as a result of the research performed, such as literature searches, etc. Education Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree - Required • Bachelor's Degree Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology - Preferred Experience Qualifications • At least three (3) years of experience with clinical databases and research - Required • At least five (5) years of experience with clinical databases and research - Preferred Skills and Abilities • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel) • Advanced proficiency with database management systems (Access, Oracle) • Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology. • Excellent analytical skills • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to gather, analyze and make recommendations/decisions based on data • Ability to convey complex or technical information in an easy to understand manner • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change SALARY RANGE: $67,500.00 - $86,060.00 Annually Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs.
