Job Description

The Senior IT Analyst job provides information technology services in facilities planning, operations and support. This position supports the Air Traffic Organization (ATO)'s Technical Operations Services under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is on the NAS Modernization Group. and involves analytical and writing skills. 

Specific Required Experience and Skill Sets:

• Experience in designing, developing, customizing, and implementing website and SharePoint application solutions in Office 365 environment
• Experience creating, configuring and customizing SharePoint Sites, lists, document libraries, pages, content types, and workflows
• Experience in SharePoint Online and integrating with MS Teams and other 365 products
• Experience in maintaining and updating SharePoint applications
• Experience in building scalable web applications
• Experience in testing website interface and software stability
• Experience in writing code for websites and applications
• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging and modifying code
• Develop user graphical interface to display data/functions
• Proficient in using and developing User Interfaces (UI) to maximize the User Experience (UX) using UI and UX tools such as, Figma, InVision Studiom Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe XD
• Ability to design dashboards for easy understandable views of operational status
• Ability to convert manual procedures to automation, including the ability to program/script automated tests steps
• Experience and proficiency using front-end programming languages such as, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS or XML
• Familiarity with software frameworks to facilitate the process of app development such as, .NET, VisualBasic.NET, and ASP.NET
• Knowledge of coding in business class languages such as Python, SQL and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Understand relational database design including data normalization, data types, and data integrity
• Understanding of AWS Cloud Technologies that include core AWS services including compute, network, databases and storage
• Understand the AWS shared responsibility model and security best practices
• Ability to identify AWS services for common business use cases
• Ability to communicate and collaborate to gather requirements, user stories, and translate to technical requirements
• Ability to create project plans and timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering. Advanced science/engineering/IT background/degree
• Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services
• Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, Tableau platform/development, Cloud Infrastructure, Amazon AWS Database architecture and programming, Data Analysis/Management, Agile/Scrum Frameworks, and 360° Information Services Management
• Project management experience including Full Life Cycle Project Management
• Ability to solve complex software issues
• Familiar with video editing software
