What You’ll Do
As aSenior IT Business Analyst/Product Owner, you’ll drive the strategy and delivery of enterprise applications and digital products. You will be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions—partnering with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, and operations to ensure our products provide measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define product vision, roadmap, and backlog for enterprise applications.
• Elicit and document business and system requirements from cross-functional teams.
• Translate requirements into user stories, data models, process flows, and specifications.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, quality assurance, and architects.
• Evaluate vendor platforms and recommend technology enhancements.
• Conduct impact/gap analysis and feasibility studies.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to internal business partners.
• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize systems and workflows.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years in business analysis or product ownership roles, supporting IT and digital initiatives.
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience including backlog ownership and user story creation.
• Strong technical knowledge (APIs, data models, system integrations).
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex IT solutions.
Preferred Experience:
• 3+ years in the P&C insurance industry, especially homeowners insurance.
• Familiarity with systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or OneShield.
• Certifications such as CSPO, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS platforms, workflow automation, and data tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards within homeowners insurance.
