Senior IT Project Engineer

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Engineer who is responsible for leading and managing complex IT infrastructure and system implementation projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT professional with experience in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced IT solutions for enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Project Management:

◦ Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

◦ Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

◦ Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.

2 Technical Leadership:

◦ Design and implement advanced IT systems, including networks, servers, and cloud-based solutions.

◦ Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure optimization efforts.

◦ Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues.

3 Collaboration & Team Coordination:

◦ Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

◦ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

◦ Facilitate effective communication across departments and stakeholders.

4 Documentation & Reporting:

◦ Maintain detailed project documentation, including system designs, configurations, and change management records.

◦ Prepare regular status updates and project reports for stakeholders and leadership.

5 Compliance & Best Practices:

◦ Ensure IT solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.

◦ Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience:

◦ 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, or project management roles.

◦ Proven track record of leading successful IT projects.

• Technical Skills:

◦ Proficiency in system design, network architecture, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

◦ Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

◦ Expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and enterprise tools (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.).

◦ Familiarity with ITIL practices and project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, PMP).

• Soft Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
