Sr. IT Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of the fastest growing well-established companies in Utah is looking for an Sr. IT Project Manager to join its ranks. IT Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in the IT department.  Some of the IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include: 

• Develop product knowledge of DigiCert’s IT systems and applications used to run the business.
• Facilitate prioritization, documentation, and communication of functional and technical requirements of projects.
• Set Project Milestones that are clear and measurable.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies. 
• Organize and run meetings to review project milestones, status, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate dependencies, milestones, decisions, status for active projects.
• Collaborate with all departments in managing tasks and achieving milestones.
• Identify and assist in the resolution of conflicts and roadblocks within the project.
• Tack open issues to resolution. 
• Create central repository for Project Information
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of professional experience working in the software industry. 
• 8+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years practical experience with Salesforce / CPQ / CLM
• Skilled in meeting management and facilitation.  
• Skilled in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Detail oriented with ability to track project status, action items, decisions, issues, dependencies.
• Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with technical, non-technical staff and senior executives.
• Ability to handle shifting priorities while still accomplishing goals.
• Proven skills in building relationships and eliciting cooperation from various departments, individuals, and teams.
• Knowledgeable in IT processes, change management, and controls.
• Power user in MS Word, Excel, Confluence, Jira, and various project management applications. 
• Knowledge of SSL, PKI, and other security related technologies.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION:   

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent years of experience and formal training.
• PMP Certification
• Agile project management methodology training and experience
