Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high volume applications using the latest Java technologies. The ideal candidate will be capable of understanding detailed business requirements and transforming them into well-designed, testable and efficient code. Your contributions will help shape the development lifecycle and optimize existing systems.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Serbia.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume applications using the latest Java technologies
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well-designed, testable, quality code following clean code principles
• Ensure design compliance with specifications and customer requirements
• Quickly absorb professional knowledge and develop new skills
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies for architectural review
• Perform code and architecture reviews
• Implement functionalities as described in design documents
• Manage sections of ongoing projects and occasionally lead project teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of Java development experience
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented analysis and design principles
• Good knowledge and understanding of algorithms, design patterns
• Proficiency in relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies
• Familiarity with Spring or JEE, JMS, JPA
• Experience with Maven, unit testing, and continuous build tools like Jenkins or Hudson
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks based on business requirements
• Experience in agile methodologies and tools, along with versioning systems like SVN or GIT
• Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Good English communication skills in reading, writing and speaking

• Knowledge of any Cloud provider
• Experience with Big Data tools
