Duration: This is a fixed-term contract with an initial duration of 4 months.

The Role

// As a Senior Kotlin Developer (Fixed-Term Contractor) at Masabi you will be responsible for delivering key features and enhancements across multiple backend services that are central to our systems. This role involves working on specific projects including expanding our fare engine calculations and architecture which will provide opportunities to engage with diverse technologies and solve complex technical challenges.

You will collaborate closely with specialists in development testing and other relevant areas to deliver high-quality solutions within the agreed project timelines. This is a great opportunity for an experienced contractor to contribute meaningfully to critical initiatives while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Fully cloud-hosted platform with Infrastructure as Code tooling(Terraform)

About You

• A good command of the English language is required for this role including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English

• Solid core programming skills in Kotlin and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and domains within a limited timeframe

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software that operates at scale within defined project timelines

• Experience working within a project-focused team contributing expertise to help shape and implement new features efficiently

• Ability to integrate into an existing codebase quickly and follow established development practices while providing valuable insights

• Open to adopting existing processes and frameworks ensuring alignment with current development standards while bringing a practical approach to problem-solving

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders ensuring smooth project execution

• A goal-oriented and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
