Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Lead Developer to join our team.

Our team is responsible for a cloud-based web application called Metering that facilitates our subscription-based pricing model. The application collects and stores usage reports from all webMethods Cloud and on-premises products included in subscription contracts on an hourly basis.

This role demands a strong technical background and design systems, coupled with leadership capabilities to mentor team members and engage in cross-team and architectural discussions.
The role offers the opportunity to shape a product that will be used globally across a large enterprise suite, work with a talented team, and drive innovation in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Java and associated frameworks.
• Experience with OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of design systems and their application in building consistent and scalable applications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to lead topics, mentor developers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in collaborating across multiple teams and presenting complex ideas clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Experience with database technologies and database architecture in cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge in security and compliance areas within cloud environments.
