As the nation's largest military shipbuilder, HII knows how integrate millions of parts, pieces and service from across the globe to complete a larger mission. Join us as we support the SEA 21 program providing On-site Senior Logistics Support Personnel to multiple locations in the Asia Pacific region. The Senior Logistics Support positions are located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and will provide equipment validation for shipboard configuration changes for ships homeported outside of the continental United States and serve as the primary logistics point of contact for ship's force and other waterfront entities.

What You Will Do

• Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
• Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
• Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
• Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

What You Must Have

• Must have Ten (10) years of experience in the Navy or supporting Navy surface ships.
• Should also include five (5) years of experience in Logistics supporting in-service Navy ships or new construction programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, and must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to military installations via DBIDS or CAC.
• Must be able to travel up to 11-25% of the time

Bonus Points For...

• Experience with OMMS/NG and CDMDOA systems
• Prefer Fifteen (15) years of experience in the Navy or supporting Navy Surface Ships.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
