Senior Manager Cloud Service Optimisation & Projects

Summary:

The Cloud Service Optimisation and Projects Manager will lead efforts to explore, develop, and implement innovative cloud solutions across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. This role requires a forward-thinking technical leader with a passion for innovation, extensive technical expertise, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, emerging trends, strong technical skills to drive cloud optimization, automation, and innovative solutions. This is a hands on technical manager role reporting to the Senior Director of Cloud Services

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to optimize and automate cloud resources across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Execute a strategic roadmap for cloud innovation, aligning with business goals and objectives.
• Lead small distributed team based across regions to deliver on our key objectives.
• Work closely with Cloud Services operations team, monitoring team, business units, product teams, and IT to identify opportunities for cloud innovation and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative cloud solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team
• Develop and oversee proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new cloud technologies.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of cloud innovation initiatives.
• Ensure all cloud innovations adhere to security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience working with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Strong ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This position is based in Europe. Remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location and the nature of the projects.
