Job purpose

The Senior Manager, Consolidation and Reporting is responsible for managing the worldwide consolidation process and financial statement preparation for the company. This position will ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements. Additionally, this position will lead various financial strategic projects in support of enterprise-wide initiatives and will have frequent interaction with the Company's Finance leadership, including executive management. The Senior Manager, Consolidation and Reporting will report to the Assistant Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and XBRL tagging ensuring all information is reported accurately and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission requirements.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of global accounting policies and certain complex accounting areas. Provide U.S. GAAP support and guidance to global finance colleagues.
• Review the monthly consolidation to ensure accuracy and follow up with individual locations as necessary.
• Work with locations on one-time items impacting the consolidation to ensure it is appropriately reflected in HFM (i.e. closing of a location).
• Record consolidating journal entries within HFM on a monthly basis.
• Assist in various projects including preparation of ad-hoc reports and support of US GAAP accounting for transactions.

What we're looking for

• 10-12 years' experience in accounting or finance
• BA in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA required
• MBA a plus
• SEC Reporting experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Highly driven / self-starter
