Senior Manager, Costing Operations - Finance

The Senior Manager, Costing Operations - Finance role is critical to the success of Bloomington Site Operations. In this role, you will partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations teams to deliver on our commitments to clients and patients. In this endeavor, you will be required to collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to develop detailed plans for manufacturing, inventory, capex and labor & overhead costs, and influence key decisions to execute and deliver on such plans.

This role will utilize your experience in manufacturing and supply chain, deep technical knowledge in manufacturing finance, and the perseverance needed to navigate challenges that come with starting from scratch.

This is a fulltime role based out of Catalent's Bloomington, IN location.

The Role

• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations teams to develop, measure and track labor & overhead costs. Lead manufacturing headcount planning efforts and partner with HR teams to manage headcount levels.
• Perform in-depth analysis and provide insights on manufacturing capex and labor & overhead costs, to help support manufacturing roadmap.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations, Accounting, & IT teams to identify key data integrations necessary to facilitate accurate labor cost recognition, inventory tracking, and fixed assets recording.
• Identify & track against key KPIs to measure financial and operational performance of each manufacturing line & process.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance)
• MBA or CPA a plus
• 5-8 years of leadership experience, to include 5-10 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance field.
• Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a SOX compliant company.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and SoX requirements.
• Experience in manipulating large databases.
• Experience with large ERPs such as JDE or SAP or Oracle, Hyperion or Essbase, Microsoft Products and Business Objects experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical, Biologics and/or CDMO experience preferred.
