Position Summary

As a Walmart Sr. Manager (Sales Team Lead), you'll manage and develop resources of the Walmart Sales Team to deliver omni-assigned volume, share and profit goals, while also establishing team objectives and building integrated business plans and customer relationships. Through leveraging multi-functional resources for customer and business development, you'll develop associates through training, coaching, and motivating. As a fundamental part of the high-performing Sales Organization at Nestle Purina, the Walmart Sales Team sits at the center of our desire to be the most respected and agile selling organization.
• Lead the omni-joint business planning process with team to achieve performance objectives.• Develop high level working relationships with the key decision makers at Walmart• Recruit, develop and retain top talent, while promoting workforce diversity and upward mobility among team members• Lead the team to accurately forecast projected monthly and annual sales volume and margin• Develop and lead annual and long-term business and strategy planning with Nestle Purina Brand Teams, both in-store and online• Contributes and identifies profitable opportunities to grow incremental volume, profit, and share• Continuously monitor and analyze customers overall business plan and progress in meeting goals and adjust activities• Assess any customer's competitive position, behaviors and strategies and leverage an alignment with Nestle Purina Pet Care strategic goals to maximize sustainable sales, share, and profit growth.
Requirements• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution• 5+ years' experience in sales, account management, business development or category development activity with a manufacturer, distributor, or retail operations• Must be able to travel up to 20% as business needs require
Other• eCommerce experience is preferred• Previous retail account management and ecommerce exposure is preferred
