Senior Manager, Data Modernization and Intelligence

The Senior Manager, Data Modernization & Intelligence will provide strategic leadership and vision for the organization's data modernization and intelligence initiatives within the communications and collaboration domain. This role will drive the adoption of M365 Copilot, MS Purview, and other GenAI technologies to enhance data governance, improve collaboration workflows, and generate actionable insights. They will lead the development and implementation of data strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements. This role will also be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. • Develop and execute a comprehensive data modernization and intelligence strategy for the communications and collaboration domain, focusing on M365 and related technologies. • Lead the M365 Copilot program, driving adoption and ensuring successful integration with existing collaboration tools and workflows. • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, leveraging MS Purview to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. • Oversee the evaluation and implementation of GenAI technologies to enhance data analysis, content creation, and collaboration processes. • Drive the development of data-driven insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making in communications and collaboration. • Build and manage a team of data analysts and engineers, providing mentorship and guidance. • Collaborate with other service areas (Email, Communications, Data Insights) to ensure alignment and integration of data initiatives. • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to stay ahead of industry trends. • Create and maintain policies, guardrails and tenant operations SOPs. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field. • Minimum 7+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, with a focus on communications and collaboration. • Proven experience leading data modernization and intelligence initiatives within the M365 ecosystem. • Deep understanding of MS Purview and its application to data governance and compliance. • Strong knowledge of GenAI technologies and their potential applications in communications and collaboration. • Experience managing and leading technical teams. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations. • Experience with change management.
