Summary

The Senior Manager, Data Scientist position will collect the data from various sources, then process, design, analyze and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Primary
  • Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
  • Develop and maintain data reorganizing data in a readable format
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage, data mining, and data cleansing
  • Help develop reports and analysis
  • Support the IT in identifying and revising reporting requirements
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and evaluate changes and updates to source data
  • Understand problem definitions and perform in-depth data analysis to find solutions
  • Must be familiar with Oracle Database or other RDBMS
  • Must be comfortable with either on premise database or cloud database like oracle cloud, snowflake etc.
  • Understand the cloud technology and have knowledge on any one of major cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Understand java, python script or other programming languages
  • Expert on SQL, Microsoft Excel

  • Remove corrupted data and fix data errors and related problems
  • Work with the stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications, functional design and associated documentation
  • Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting customers

  • Support business unit or divisional initiatives
  • Perform other qualified duties, as assigned

Compensation Range

$124,000- $133,000 per year

Qualifications

Skills

• Strong knowhow of technology trends. Deep expertise and knowhow in automotive industry related technology and business processes
• Understanding of application development, EDI, management reporting and ERP tools in Database, Programming languages, Analytic tools, Marketing CRMs or customer facing systems and SAP are desirable
• IT system management skill for various logistics business area
• Strong planning mindset and Strategic and critical thinking
• Ability to lead, train, motivate and manage multi-skilled personnel

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Ten (10) Years of Direct Experience, Five (5) Years of Indirect Experience in Information Technology Required
