The Sr. Manager of Global Marketing Communications is responsible for growing our market share worldwide via global and localize marketing plans. They will be in charge of the marketing strategy for an entire category of business. From media plans to content strategy to retail activations, the person will work closely with global and international partners to bring disruptive marketing activations to life and balance between long term strategic thinking and short term tactical activations.
What You'll Do:
- Marketing Communications:
- Develop marketing and communication plans for key product categories to increase global market share
- Create consumer personas in relation to product category, media, shopping habits
- Create consumer journey maps with key engagement touchpoints online offline
- Research present consumer, industry, media, retail, and international marketing trends to ensure category leadership
- International Management:
- Meet with regional counterparts on a regular basis to communicate global strategy
- Coordinate regional marketing activities to maximise global category goals.
- People Management:
- Direct management of junior marketing personnel.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, partnership marketing and/or brand marketing at a brand or agency.
- Knowledge of the global beauty (esp. in skincare) industry and landscape
- Strong knowledge of social media, influencer, and media landscape
- Experience with retail, instore marketing
- Experience working with international teams
- Experience in analysing complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations
Schedule:
- Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly
The target salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
