Job Description

Position Summary:

The Sr Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning will be an integral member of the Operations Team at Cutera, Inc. This role will lead critical forecasting and planning activities that will impact the overall commercial/field service strategy and execution. The role will require deep forecasting and technical expertise with the ability to present and influence the decision process of commercial leadership strategy in support of globally marketed products. You will also play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely production and delivery of life-enhancing medical devices to healthcare providers. You will leverage your expertise in SAP S4 HANA to analyze data, forecast demand, and develop production plans that meet customer requirements while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. This position will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain in Brisbane, California.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demand Forecasting:
  • Lead the forecasting function providing strong, data-driven analytics to the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, distribution, service, sales, marketing, and customer service, to gather and analyze demand data.
  • Utilize SAP S4 HANA's advanced forecasting tools to generate accurate demand forecasts for various product lines and geographic regions.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and customer feedback.
• Production Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive production plans that align with demand forecasts and production capacity.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure the timely and efficient execution of production schedules.
  • Optimize production plans to minimize waste, reduce lead times, and meet quality standards.
• Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times and enhance supplier relationships.
• SAP S4 HANA Expertise:
  • Leverage your deep understanding of SAP S4 HANA to drive system enhancements and improvements in demand and production planning processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in utilizing SAP S4 HANA effectively.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate demand and production planning performance.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to address any supply chain issues proactively.
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners (Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations), collaborating effectively to ensure team success.
• Experience employing both strategic and operational research techniques and business issues to deliver superior analysis and embedding insights to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of experience in demand and production planning, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Extensive experience with SAP S4 HANA, including expertise in demand planning and production planning modules.
• Significant experience building Power BI reports.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and metrics obtainment.
• Travel requirement - 20% travel.

Additional Information

Cutera expects to reasonably pay in the range listed below for this position based on the city and state listed in the job posting:

Annual base salary: $150,000 - $185,000

The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, and candidate residence if the position is remote or field-based. We reserve the option to pay above this range for exemplary experience or higher education.
