About the team: 

Our People Operations team has built a collaborative and engaging work environment, and we’re looking for a Senior Manager of Global Workplace Experience with an amazing sense of hospitality to help us take our work environment to the next level of innovation and service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates problems, takes initiative with little guidance, all while maintaining a positive attitude as a cultural flagbearer. The Senior Manager, Global Facilities will oversee daily office operations at our HQ in San Francisco, while supporting our five other global offices. The person in this role will be responsible for all aspects of building maintenance & improvements for all Turo offices located throughout the U.S., Canada, EMEA & APAC regions.

What you’ll do:

  • This person would run point on all office space searches -- sourcing the location, negotiating the lease, managing the move process (developing a relationship w/ a moving company and related vendors for both large-scale and small office moves/relocations), managing the installation of all equipment and managing vendor relations
  • Manage all lease negotiations for all Turo offices (large and small), both existing and expiring office leases. Similarly, handle/support any/all facilities issues that arise from any of those offices (coordinating with property managers, landlords, and vendors). Support our IT teams with any infrastructure projects and manage any facility construction/remodel projects
  • Maintain and manage the budgets for all Turo office leases, furniture purchases, moves, repairs, swag purchases, etc. Will need to maintain a close-knit relationship with Finance and all local teams to stay on track
  • Manage interior design projects for all offices. Collaborate with the Design team for ways to unify the look and feel for all Turo offices
  • Own event planning at Turo! Coordinate with the People Operations team to host the annual Turbo Week event (week-long, company-wide gathering conference of nearly 1k employees), and guide the Office Coordinators to host onsite events to increase employee engagement and enhance company culture (i.e. all holidays, create annual traditions, etc.)
  • Maintain a schedule of all board meetings, team summits and trainings. Coordinate with the facilities and IT teams for event set-up, food & beverage, space planning, etc.
  • Manage three Office Coordinators worldwide
  • Complete ownership of all things facilities/property related for all Turo offices

Your profile: 

  • 10+ years of experience in facilities, property management, and/or real estate & development
  • Demonstrated experience of being a cultural flagbearer who is driven by providing high levels of hospitality
  • Experience negotiating and juggling several office leases at a time
  • Familiar with Google suite of office products
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral skills
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain multiples schedules and projects simultaneously, across multiple time zones

The SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $148K-170K + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in this location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
