About the role:

Forter is seeking an experienced Senior GTM Analytics Manager to join our GTM Operations team. This is an opportunity for an individual with a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence looking to make a significant impact on our GTM success. 

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining the data and analytics stack for our GTM teams. You will drive the building of our GTM metrics and reporting framework from the ground up to deliver consumable and actionable insights to the organization. This individual will be directly responsible for supporting the growth and scalability of our GTM organization through standardization and automation of GTM data, metrics, and regular reporting and insights gathering.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operationalize our GTM Analytics strategy to ensure that all data is centralized and easily accessible to business stakeholders.
  • Own the framework and dashboards that fuel regular business reporting and insights, such as monthly/ quarterly business review, executive and board level insights, and CRO’s reporting packs (including sales and pipeline performance). 
  • Owner of the GTM Pipeline model, driving historical reporting, model iterations, cohort analysis, and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement data solutions that support GTM initiatives, including sales, customer success, marketing, partnerships, sales development, and business development.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics tools and dashboards to provide insights into key revenue metrics, such as pipeline progression, sales performance, territory productivity, and customer churn.
  • Develop and maintain user-friendly dashboards via Salesforce, Clari, or Qlik to provide actionable insights for the GTM team and executive leadership.
  • Partner with other internal data functions to align reporting, data governance, and definitions, such as Marketing Operations, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Product Analysts. 
  • Document our data dictionary along with a public change log of any changes and evolutions of our data fields and formulas. 
  • Own data governance for GTM analytics, implementing data quality controls and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across revenue systems.
  • Improve our ability to identify patterns in our data by implementing tables to maintain history, comparing different metrics against both end-of-period objectives and pacing goals.
  • Work with our Business Intelligence team to align our GTM Analytics strategy with the overarching Forter data strategy.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant data governance policies and standards.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related fields, preferably supporting GTM organizations.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales metrics, tendencies, and general business operations.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data visualization tools (Qlik a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and drive to build.
  • Experience with data transformation tools.
  • Understanding of data warehouse technologies (Snowflake preferred) with proven ability to work with internal and external data engineers to manage data infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on impact and the business's needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Understanding and experience with SaaS model companies and large global sales teams.
  • Experience with the GTM tech stack, including Salesforce, Clari, Hubspot, and Leandata that drive GTM productivity
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working with multiple departments and individuals to reach common solutions that serve revenue growth.

Hybrid work:

Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $230,000.00  annually + bonus + equity + benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level.
