Podium is poised for momentous customer growth. We are looking to hire a leader of Lifecycle Marketing to drive the acquisition of new customers and expansion/upsell of new products to our customer base. This role reports to the VP of Growth. Â
You Will:Â
- Own the strategy and execution of Email and SMS communications to meet our new customer acquisition and expansion goals. Â
- Manage the customer activation and communication strategy which includes buildout out / up-leveling our nurture email / SMS series and building out triggers based on customer actions or behaviorsÂ
- Leverage market research and consumer insights to inform planning, audience segmentation, and execution
- Interpret analytics results, assess campaign effectiveness, and adapt campaigns to achieve goals
- Identify opportunities to personalize the customer journey, including optimal time/channel recommendations that lead to stronger engagement
- Develop an experiment roadmap to uncover new areas of opportunity to drive growth within Email & SMS.
- Build and manage reports and dashboards to socialize key insights and takeaways across the business
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product marketing, in particular) to understand product expansion plans and work those into communication strategies.
You Have:
- A problem solving and analytical mindset
- Hands-on executional experience with ESPs and BI reporting tools
- A test and learn mindset with the drive to both think and do
- Highly developed creative and written communication skills, with the ability to self-edit
- The ability to influence cross-functional partners in order to gain buy-in and support for your vision and roadmap
- A passion for data to inform, test, and prioritize campaigns and focus
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience managing and building small, high-performing teams
- 7+ years of experience of marketing experience some of which should include email and lifecycle marketing
- Proficiency in Excel, DOMO, Salesforce, and web optimization tools. SQL experience is a big plus. Â
- Proven track record of driving company growth at scale through search engine optimization
- Proficient data analytics and strategy background
- Must be able to give and receive feedback in a humble, constructive way
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, ownership, and focus
