Job Overview
At AvidXchange, we combine Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations into one, high-performing growth marketing function with the mission of deploying technology and data-driven approaches to digital marketing, user experiences, marketing systems operations, campaign measurement, cross-functional team collaboration and workflow management.
As the Manager of Digital and Marketing Operations, you are responsible for helping to manage and scale AvidXchange's digital marketing, marketing technology, marketing program analytics and process workflows which support our fast-growing company. Your experience with marketing operations and processes means you can develop efficiencies in workflow, technology, process documentation, change management and overall marketing team operations. You are ready to dive in to strategize, build, test, and execute cross-functional operational efficiencies for launching and supporting campaigns that generate brand awareness and deliver qualified leads to Sales. You will also work closely with the digital marketing and campaign marketing teams to support their revenue marketing mission to drive new customer acquisition and sales pipeline.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage scalable processes for marketing project workflow and execution
- Manage, maintain, and scale the technology and tools needed to effectively operate as a cross-functional, revenue-generating, and high-performance driven growth marketing team
- Lead integration and collaboration efforts with sales operations, analytics and other growth team operations teams
- Conduct vendor selection, vendor management and integrations/implementation processes for aligned marketing technologies
- Maintain a high standard of quality assurance
- Conduct data investigations and resolve errors quickly
- Collaborate with marketing and business analytics teammates to create data-driven marketing performance dashboards, reporting, etc.
- Develop and deploy reports and dashboards on project status and team efficiency
- Prepare documentation and maintain an advanced knowledgebase of processes, systems, and solutions
- Conduct regular training of new and existing staff and lead change management for aligned marketing technologies
- Stay current on technology trends to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems, tech stack and workflows.
- Implement and/or sunset technologies and workflows to make room for bigger and better systems.
- Discover, evaluate, and propose new tools to automate human processes and reduce errors.
- Manage a team of junior digital and marketing operations teammates
Require Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in business-to-business marketing operations environments, with experience in the Adobe marketing suite (Marketo Engage) and a variety of other marketing and sales technology platforms
- Understanding of strategies, tactics and technologies that best practice organizations use to optimize marketing operations and performance
- Understanding of digital demand generation marketing strategies and concepts including marketing automation, email marketing, search marketing, web marketing and analytics, etc.
- Understanding of lead flow management, including qualification/scoring, nurturing, and sales hand-off
- Understanding of database concepts, APIs, and marketing analytics
- Familiar with marketing project management, budgeting tools and process design
- RFP and budgeting experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and transparency at all levels.
- People leadership skills
- B.A. in a related discipline such as Business, Marketing, Finance, MIS, Engineering, or IT
- People leadership experience/direct reports preferred
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Demonstrated, hands-on proficiency with Adobe Marketo Engage
