Summary of Job:

As a Senior Manager of Sales Leadership Learning and Development, you will assist in designing, organizing, and managing learning and development programs. This role also maintains a consistent culture in the business regarding sales leadership learning and development and is responsible for the creation, implementation, and improvement of all business-wide sales leaders learning and development efforts. You may also coach and influence others in the company on HR processes and systems. You will need to be an adaptive learner, who can manage multiple tasks across multiple projects, leveraging and applying your experience effectively. You will design and document organizational and operational processes to support program and process execution.

Essential Functions:

  • Plans, organizes, and leads sales leadership learning and development programs, ensuring proper execution at all levels of the organization
  • Participate and lead in strategic projects designed to fulfill the needs of the field sales force. These projects include continuous collaboration with all relevant support departments: Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, IT, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, etc., and include, but are not limited to, new product launches, new marketing directives, new indication launches, new positioning directives, etc.
  • Analyze and assess training effectiveness to determine when revisions, enhancements, or new programs should occur and receives recommendation/input from the team. Provides input to training leadership
  • Develop and implement evaluations to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training, and provides metrics for management review
  • Ensures consistency in the delivery and application of learning standards across the business and conducts the planning, prioritization, and development of new programs and initiatives, ensuring that these programs and initiatives are consistent with the business overall strategies, objectives, and needs
  • Introduces the latest and most applicable trends in learning and development for inclusion in the overall strategy, maintaining and updating programs, and ensuring an innovative approach within the business
  • Provides big-picture perspective for projects to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Implements, evaluates, and benchmarks learning and development projects in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Partners with Sr. Sales Leadership to build talent strategy from design through implementation to advance learning and development, and the mission of Kyowa Kirin
  • Translates business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, key measures of success
  • Partners with resources from across the organization, business units, and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations

Job Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant learning and development experience
  • In-depth understanding and application of traditional and modern learning and development methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning, micro-learning and coaching)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Office Suite.


Non-Technical Skills

Highly motivated and great attention to detail. Strong endurance to work under tight timelines and complex/changing situations.  Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Broad level of interpersonal skills and flexibility.   Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.

Supports the ongoing development of best practices and tools for sales leadership learning and development, project management, and execution.
