About you

As a Senior Manager, Solution Engineering, you like to lead a team that showcases the technical value of technology products in our marketplace to potential clients and advisors. Through dynamic discovery, presentations, and presenting solutions, you like to drive revenue growth by fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

• Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company;
• Collaborate with Leadership on revenue goals, planning, and forecasting in accordance with company strategy and business plans;
• Maintain continuous oversight, guidance, and communication with leadership and Program/Project Managers in the execution of contractual and professional services;
• Be seen as a technology thought leader by our ecosystem of internal and external customers;
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement;
• Mentor and develop teammates according to KPI’s;
• Organize job training to team members to achieve business objectives;
• Support advisors business development efforts with Channel Sales Managers;
• Forge relationships with our technology advisors - educate, empower and enable;
• Actively participate as technologies SME, providing consultative support to other Solution Engineers in their area of specialization;
• Drive revenue of our technology portfolio through AppDirect partner channels;
• Perform advanced technical presentations for customers and prospects remotely and in person;
• Develop advanced process optimizations in response to customer needs and requirements;
• Work with the provider services team to identify and evaluate new providers to add to the portfolio by product segment based on industry trends;
• Provide feedback and strategy to the senior leadership team on industry trends, product specialization, and future vision based on product segment.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years’ technology and solutions leadership experience; 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/MIS/Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent work experience;
• 5+ years of success with Technology as a Service solutions on the pre-sales engineer side within channel partners;
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in the IT Industry and willingness to address change in market conditions;
• Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives;
• Demonstrated analytical and time-management skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as an active member of a team;
• Demonstrated business and technology acumen;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills (virtual or in person);
• Ability to collaborate and create impactful technical education content;
• Demonstrated success executing effective training sessions of large groups highly preferred.
