Senior Manager/Director, Strategic Planning

Factorial needs to drive innovation, discovering potential market opportunities, and finding & establishing collaboration and partnership with external parties in batteries related field. Sr. Manager - Director, Strategic Planning will develop product/technical roadmap and business cases, monitor technical trend and detail competitive analysis, and out-source partnerships. He/she contributes to suggest company’s short/mid/long-term visions.

• Develop new technology and business visons for advanced research and development
• Responsible for creating and managing the product roadmap and technical roadmap
• Establish technical strategy for leading the technology in batteries’ industry, monitoring new technology trend, and analyzing the competitor’s technology
• Set up the partnership strategies to the state-of the art company for developing new business opportunities
• Establish go-to-market strategies and business cases for emerging product and technologies
• Contribute to manage the monthly or weekly progress check of cross-functional team
• Lead the realization of strategic business development projects
• Develop business models and value propositions, identify/secure/allocate resources. Implement the necessary actions to realize new business models.
• Support to set up and manage IP strategy 

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering (Computing science, Battery engineering), MBA preferred
• 5-8+ years of experience in corporate strategy/technical strategy/business strategy/strategy&operations
• 10+ years of industry experience in R&D technology, developing strategy
• Excellent data analysis skill, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python (programming tool) proficiency
• Fast understanding the new technology, and evaluating the business impact and technical feasibility
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
