Your Role and Responsibilities

• Partnering with universities to lead and manage project-based Co-Op programs aligned with recruiting priorities and acting as a brand ambassador to university stakeholders.
• Serving as an IBM Site Leader overseeing the Co-Op office suite handling facilities security supplies etc.
• Collaborating with IBM leaders to source projects and mentors and overseeing interactions between students and IBM teams
• Delivering on Utilization and Business case Monitoring reporting actively driving the individual utilization of team members and achievement of business case
• Managing the daily activities of Co-Op students including recruiting interviewing selecting onboarding and assigning them to billable projects. This includes serving as a coach mentor and day-to-day manager supervising their work to ensure quality and delivery standards and handling performance management evaluations and in-person offboarding.
• Engaging with other enabling functions (talent acquisition HR L&K delivery centers) to support and enable the program.
• Fostering community within the Co-Op program and driving efforts to convert participants to regular hires.
• Enhancing IBM’s early professional programs based on Co-Op experiences.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Deep understanding of IBM’s business and relationships with leaders to source supervise and ensure quality control of IBM projects.
• Strong knowledge of IBM’s administrative and enablement functions (procurement legal security real estate HR talent acquisition) and ability to navigate necessary processes for remote student team setup/management.
• Experience designing and managing multi-college Co-Op programs with large universities.
• Proven track record in recruiting hiring coaching and managing interns and university hires.
• Familiarity with workforce management.
• Operational leadership experience.
