In your role as Senior Marketing Measurement Manager you will be joining our Marketing Science team which is part of the Revenue & Marketing organization. We’ve built a strong, cohesive GTM team that serves Neighbors, Businesses, and Public Agencies.

The Impact You’ll Make

You will be responsible for building our Marketing Analytics & Insights capabilities for Brand, B2B Marketing, and Marketing Partnerships from the ground up. Your role involves measuring the impact of our marketing investments. You will be guiding marketing teams on how to best set investments up for measurement along with providing insights from data analysis to help guide decision making. You will also play an instrumental role in determining measurement tool investments and you’ll be responsible for setting up dashboards with our Data Science team. You will collaborate closely with our broader Marketing Science team, Data Science, and Engineering Analytics on our data strategy and to access relevant data lakes. You will frequently interact directly with our Head of Revenue & Marketing and partner closely with  the Marketing Leadership Team, Marketing Operations, and Finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building Marketing Analytics & Insights Capabilities 

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders on measurement tooling
  • Set up analytics to ensure we’re effectively measuring our Brand, B2B Marketing, and Marketing Partnerships investments 
  • Institute frameworks for A/B testing 
  • Build dashboards for performance monitoring
  • Ensure reporting, including data visualization, and insights readouts are in place for all appropriate stakeholders 

Influence Marketing Investments 

  • Partner with Marketing teams on setting meaningful KPIs for marketing investments with defined leading plus lagging indicators
  • Analyze past and current campaign performance and provide recommendations on Marketing Investments 

Marketing Excellence 

  • Build media mix models that allow for effective measurement and provide ongoing optimization recommendations 
  • Consult marketing leaders on setting up experimentation logic for campaigns 
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • Proven and vast expertise in marketing measurement across multiple marketing channels
  • Prior experience in measuring and analyzing full funnel initiatives, media mix modeling, attribution and channel measurement 
  • Ability to show and tell a story backed by data using data mining methods
  • Strong SQL skills to pull together datasets
  • Knowledge of analytical programming languages including R or Python to conduct statistical analyses
  • Familiarity with experiment design and A/B test analysis including measurement selection
  • Awareness of marketing tools and analytical methods to get to actionable insight
  • Excellence in leading high visibility work that inspires change through influence and reasoning
  • Strong communicator and collaborator 
  • Bias towards action; initiative
  • Able to work autonomously in a matrix plus functional environment 
Rewards

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $150,000 to $240,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
