Verb Surgical - a Google and Johnson & Johnson joint venture!

We are looking for an accomplished Mechatronics or Robotics engineer to join the Applied Research team.

You will be working with a top notch team on building the next generation of Surgical Robotics. You will be asked to take a leading role in the mechanical design of high performing robotic arms, master devices, actuators, transmissions, test fixtures and more.

You will need hands on CAD skills, and in-depth knowledge of integrated electro-mechanical designs, sensor, basic electronics, vendor management and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about integrated mechanical and electrical designs, with a track record of delivering complex systems end to end.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bsc/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields with 4+ years of experience
• Proven innovation track record
• Solid analytical foundation
• Extensive experience in machine and mechanism design
• Hands-on experience designing complex electromechanical systems
• Working knowledge in actuators, sensors and control systems
• Excellent communicator with users and across cross-functional team
• Background in ISO and FDA regulated environments preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams
