Senior .NET Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using C# and .NET
• Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and designers to identify and solve complex issues
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Develop and maintain databases using MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or similar technologies
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Debug and troubleshoot existing software applications
• Maintain code quality, organization, and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of experience in large systems software design and development
• 5+ years of professional web development experience using .NET for enterprise applications
• Strong experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience developing, delivering, and supporting publicly-facing web applications
• Knowledge of Web Services, HTML, XML/JSON, HTTP, SSL
• Understanding of Web Services lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy)
• Advanced understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations, including virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking, and security
• Experience with database technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Expertise in Microservices and React/Redux
• Experience with MongoDB
