Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking aĀ Sr. Network Engineer to join our team! In this upcoming role you will serveĀ as a network technical expert managing and leadingĀ efforts concerning planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and administration of the Muscatatuck Cyber Range network. This is a full-time position with work that becomes available in the Sept-Oct 2024 timeframe upon award.

In this role you will:

  • MakeĀ recommendations on proposed Network Systems Engineering based on knowledge of existing capabilities and analysis of alternatives.
  • DefineĀ future focus by participating in the development of the various roadmaps and technology strategies to solve complex problems.
  • ExerciseĀ continuing responsibility for assignments pertaining to the strategic goals, policy and planning requirements for the division.

Qualifications

Clearance:Ā Active or current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test bed environments.
  • IAT II certification - CCNA-Security or CySA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ CE or CND or SSCP
  • Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.
  • Demonstrated experience providing enterprise network engineering and support for a campus area network type facility to include creating and planning policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 4G,and 3G wireless technologies to support the MUTC Wireless Network.
  • Experience configuring and managing Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) node
