This role will provide implementation, maintenance, and day-to-day support of the Dotdash Meredith networked computing infrastructure and various SaaS applications. This includes complex local, wide area, multi-cloud, and internet data communications networks.

Job Description
Dotdash Meredith is looking for a Network Engineer, 2 to join the Network Engineering team. This role will provide implementation, maintenance, and day-to-day support of the Dotdash Meredith networked computing infrastructure and various SaaS applications. This includes complex local, wide area, multi-cloud, and internet data communications networks.
About Your Contributions:
- As a member of the Network Engineering team, you will provide the highest level operational support to our internal users, business units, and 3rd party business partners.
- Support projects related to systems and network design, implementation, performance optimization, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain high level knowledge of skill regarding data communications network services, cloud networking, hardware, and software product offerings.
- Maintain the enterprise data communications infrastructure.
- Provide problem resolution for enterprise data communications, local and wide area networks, Internet connections, network security solutions, wireless data networks, SDWan, VPCs, Transit gateways, and other network-based services.
- Monitor network components and services for prevention of performance problems.
- Contribute to equipment and service documentation for daily operations performed including IP address administration, firewall administration, router and switch configurations and logical/physical network diagrams.
- Review systems and configurations, make recommendations and perform updates to further optimize network services for enterprise infrastructures.
- Prepare and perform disaster recovery tests.
About You:
- 6+ years of experience in a medium to large corporate networking environment.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent training or experience.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Experience with the technologies below (or their competitor analogs)
- Knowledge of modern cloud-based networking in AWS/GCP
- Configuration and Infrastructure automation technologies (Infrastructure as Code, TerraForm, CloudFormation, Ansible. etc.)
- Cisco ASA firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama Management
- Cisco Meraki (Wireless, Security Products, Switches, SDWAN)
- Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices
- Cisco Nexus technologies such as VDC, vPC, VXLAN, etc.
- Routing Protocols-OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS
- Data Center / Core design, configuration, and implementation utilizing Cisco ACI, Nexus and Catalyst Architecture
- Network Access Control - Cisco Identity Services Engine or Aruba Clearpass
- Network & application load balancing - F5
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work occasionally after hours and weekends for maintenance and as part of an on-call rotation.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
