Job Title: Senior Network Test Engineer

Experience Range: 5-7 Years 
Location: Bangalore 

About the Role: The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, manage test sessions, and ensure seamless integration of network elements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Test Delivery: 

• Plan and participate in test case development for acceptance and clean runs. 

• Manage test session planning and allocate time for test systems efficiently. 

• Execute test cases and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues. 

• Provide traces, logs, and other evidence to support test results. 

• Perform necessary retesting to ensure software quality. 

• Deliver detailed test reports and update test management tools. 

• Lab Preparation: 

• Collaborate in the handover process of the Engineering Lab to the project’s engineering team. 

• Support the integration of third-party systems surrounding the lab. 

• Assist in lab hardening and preparation for new feature testing. 

• Conduct basic and automated testing during clean runs to ensure system readiness. 

• Type Acceptance and Coordination: 

• Manage and execute Type Acceptance Testing (TACC) to validate system readiness. 

• Conduct Method of Procedure (MOP) Testing to ensure procedural compliance. 

• Validate up to 25% of test cases on a case-by-case basis, ensuring detailed documentation. 

• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

• Nokia NTAS (fixed and VoLTE - enterprise and consumer)

• Nokia oMGW 

• Nokia I-SBC 

• Nokia CSCF (VoLTE) 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 5-7 years of experience in software testing and test coordination. 

• Strong understanding of network elements and services, including 2G, 4G/VoLTE, and fixed voice services. 

• Proficiency in test management and reporting tools. 

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. 

• Strong communication and documentation skills. 

Preferred Experience: 

• Experience working with Nokia network elements and systems. 

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques. 

• Understanding of GDPR (DSGVO) compliance requirements.
