Senior Non-Profit Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Senior Non-Profit Accountant to assist our client in Palo Alto, CA. This temporary opportunity is fully onsite. The Senior Non-Profit Accountant will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable, assisting with financial audits and reporting, performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate and timely grants payments. This role requires 8+ years of accounting experience and non-profit experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities: • Ensure timely grants payments, including tracking and reporting • Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations • Prepare employee expense reimbursements • Manage Accounts Payable and assist with vendor management • Assist with annual financial audit, year-end reporting and tax preparations Qualifications: • Non-profit experience highly preferred • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Minimum 8 years of accounting experience • CPA or Public Accounting experience preferred • Proven experience with monthly financial close and reporting • Annual financial audit and tax filing experience for exempt organization required • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs • Excellent attention to detail Pay Details:$50.00 to $75.00 per hour Search managed by:Sara Neuville Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
