Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking experienced Operations Research Analysts to support mission planning and address operational challenges. This full-time position is located on Redstone Arsenal, AL, with work anticipated to begin in mid-December 2024 upon award.

Duties involved in this role:

• Gather and analyze large datasets related to military operations.
• Develop models to predict outcomes of defense strategies.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for resource optimization.
• Apply quantitative methods to solve complex defense challenges.
• Deliver data-driven insights to senior officials.
• Assess the impact of new defense technologies to ensure alignment with DoD's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with military personnel, engineers, and policymakers.
• Provide analytical assistance during mission planning and execution.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement: Active or current Secret level clearance minimum

Education: Master’s degree or above in a related field.

Experience: 8-12 years of related experience with

• Strong attention to detail in analyzing data, developing models, and verifying results to ensure accuracy and reliability of findings.
• Proficiency in advanced mathematics and statistical software (e.g., MATLAB, SAS, R, Python).
• Experience in modeling and simulation tools.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with military operations and defense-specific methodologies is highly beneficial.
