Senior Pega Developer

EPAM is looking for a Senior Pega Developer responsible for the creation & maintenance of PegaRULES applications of different complexity, integration of back-end services, as well as building UI for operations and frontend users.
The primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications and coordinate with the rest of the team to work on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Pega artefacts
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years development experience in Pega
• Proficiency in API development and workflow management using Pega
• Good debugging and Problem-solving skills
• In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience in writing reusable components
• Experience in writing any unit test case framework
• Able to work well individually and with a team
• Good work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
• Experience with any other low-code platform
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, waterfall
