Senior Penetration Tester

Our client, a leading national colocation data center provider , is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join their growing security organization in Las Vegas, NV. This is a direct-hire, onsite role supporting a mission-critical infrastructure environment with a strong emphasis on proactive threat identification, red team operations, and vulnerability management. About the Role The Senior Penetration Tester will serve as a key member of the organization’s offensive security team, responsible for assessing the security posture of critical systems, applications, and networks across multiple data centers. This position works closely with SOC engineers, network architects, and compliance teams to strengthen defenses and ensure enterprise resilience. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal and external penetration tests against enterprise systems, applications, and networks. Perform red team and purple team exercises to simulate advanced adversarial threats. Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities, providing actionable remediation guidance. Collaborate with SOC and infrastructure teams to validate detection and response capabilities. Lead post-assessment debriefs and deliver executive-level reporting on findings and recommendations. Stay current with emerging attack techniques, tools, and threat actor trends. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security. Strong understanding of network and application security, cloud environments, and virtualization technologies. Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Nmap, Nessus, and custom scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Hands-on experience with colocation, data center, or large-scale enterprise infrastructure is highly preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, CEH, CISSP) are strongly desired. Must be able to work onsite in Las Vegas, NV ; relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
