Senior People Insights & Analytics Specialist

We are looking for a Senior People Insights and Analytics Specialist to join our People Insights and Analytics team. In this role, you will drive value and empower decision-making by building people data products and partnering with customers across Snowflake to drive better, faster, people decisions using data. You will help us to establish a compelling Snow@Snow story for Snowflake’s customers through the products you build and impact you make.  

Preference will be given to candidates who can work from our Dublin, CA or San Mateo, CA offices 2-3 times per week. 

AS A SENIOR PEOPLE INSIGHTS AND ANALYTICS SPECIALIST, YOU WILL: 

• Design, build, and deliver inspiring people data products using (most often using Streamlit) to enable our internal customers to make better, faster, people decisions.  
• Work to continuously enhance our reporting and analytics infrastructure, including helping to shape our roadmap, document critical information, and enhance our data integrity 
• Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key internal customers  
• Manage people metrics and creation of materials for Snowflake leaders, identifying key trends behind people data 
• Create concise and effective executive level presentations weaving together data and actionable insights from across the employee lifecycle 
• Proactively identify and resolve data issues 
• Motivate and teach users to consume Analytics tools and products in their daily work. 

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PEOPLE INSIGHTS AND ANALYTICS SPECIALIST WILL HAVE: 

• Strong SQL skills 
• 5+ years of experience in the people analytics space 
• Previous experience building people analytics focused dashboards 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners 
• Ability to generate clear, concise, and (when appropriate) executive-ready actionable recommendations 
• Experience with People related metrics and topic areas 
• Strong data visualization & storytelling skills 
• An innate curiosity in understanding the “why”  

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING: 

• Knowledge & Experience with Workday HCM, Ashby or ServiceNow for HR 
• Knowledge & Experience with Snowflake 
• Knowledge & Experience with Python, Streamlit especially
